Meet AdamAdam is a fiscally responsible, pragmatic, real world Angeleno, Californian and American focused on bringing real solutions to California, without extortionate waste, lack of transparency, negligence and partisan nepotism– which is endemic to California State politics.
As a small business owner in the fitness world, and then a big business owner, as creator of the Shred App, Adam knows the challenges of starting a company, handling clients, meeting payroll, growth and development, and most importantly navigating taxes. Also, as a Co-Executive Director of Affirmative Athletics, Adam’s team has been dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for rehabilitating incarcerated young men through a sports, skill building and journal writing comprehensive program. Working together with partners throughout our LA County community, Affirmative is focused on breaking the cycle and putting an end to prison pipeline that has plagued our youth for far too long. Adam took over as executive director in 2016. Additionally, Adam was also a city elected board member of LA’s Neighborhood Council since 2016; Adam chaired or participated in Homelessness Committee, Public Safety Committee, Budget Committee and is chair of Outreach Committee. Cumulatively, this committee work has had a lasting impact in his Studio City Neighborhood and throughout the city. Outside of his business and community work, Adam participates as a member in a few incredible organizations; he is a long-standing member of Milken Institute’s Young Leader Circle and is also an active member of The Pacific Council on International Policy. For enjoyment, Adam has taken poetry classes for the last ten years, and is a lifelong student of the piano, with 20 total years of lessons between his childhood and adult life. As an avid backpacker in his youth and current adventure traveler, Adam has been to 127 countries, and all the states and continents. Adam’s greatest enjoyment however comes from the time he spends with his five-year-old son Ryan. |
